This course prepares you for Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification examination (Exam Code : 642-902, 642-813, 642-832). The CCNP exam is a professional level networking certification to recognize advanced skills in computer networking, particularly for installation and support of medium-sized LAN/WAN networks (having 100-500 nodes). The CCNP certification is appropriate for those with at least one year of networking experience who are ready to advance their skills and work independently on complex network solutions
The CCNP focuses on routing and switching of scalable networks including intranets and campuses. To obtain a CCNP, students have to complete the certification by passing three exams (642-902, 642-813, 642-832). As with all other Cisco certification exams, it is strongly recommended that students prepare for the exam by getting hands-on experience with Cisco equipment which is provided in our course.
The certification is valid for three years; at that time a CCNP holder must either take and pass an exam for one of the Professional (e.g. CCNP) or Specialist level certifications (excluding the sales specialist exams), or pass the (CCIE) written exam.
Our course will cover the following topics that are likely to be included on the Cisco Certified Network Professional exam. However, other related topics may also appear on any specific delivery of the exam. In order to better reflect the contents of the exam and for clarity purposes, the guidelines below may change at any time without notice.
The ROUTE course is designed for network engineers with at least one year of professional work experience, who are ready to advance their skills and work independently on complex network solutions. Students will learn to plan, configure and verify the implementation of secure enterprise LAN and WAN routing solutions using a range of routing protocols. Course also covers configuration of solutions to support branch offices and mobile workers.
SWITCH is designed for network engineers with at least one year of professional work experience, who are ready to advance their skills and work independently on complex network solutions. Students will learn to plan, configure and verify the implementation of complex enterprise switching solutions using Cisco's Campus Enterprise Architecture. The course also covers secure integration of VLANs, WLANs, voice and video traffic into campus networks.
TSHOOT is designed for network engineers with at least one year of professional work experience, who are ready to advance their skills and work independently on complex network solutions. Students will learn to (1) plan and perform regular maintenance on complex enterprise routed and switched networks and (2) use technology-based practices and a systematic ITIL-compliant approach to perform network troubleshooting. Extensive labs provide for hands-on learning and reinforce troubleshooting skills.
The course is delivered in classroom format at our training centre based on a structured syllabus. Students will have hands-on experience to configure an actual Cisco network equipment. The total duration of the course is 30 hours and it shall be delivered over the span of 5 to 6 weeks depending on duration per session (3 hours or 6 hours per session) opted by the students.
Most of our students are working adults. Hence, we offer our students the flexibility to arrange the class timetable with our trainers. [Weekday 7pm – 10pm (Thu & Fri) or Weekend 1pm – 7pm (Sat only)]
At the end of this course, students will be awarded with certificate of attendance. Students shall only be awarded the CCNP to the students by Cisco upon passing the exam and will be awarded the certificate of achievement upon passing the assessment.
Students must have a valid CCNA certification.
System administrators, network engineers, software engineers, system analysts, students, or power-users / PC users who may wish to learn about using the Cisco Router Configuration.
Anytime throughout the year. We can start a class when we have a minimum 5 students.
